Cardio Barre – My Experience
I finally went to see what the fuss was all about!
Cardio Barre opened in Midtown about a year ago, and since then, several people have told me about it.
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I thought “I’ll try anything once.”
Here’s what I liked:
1. The Music – any workout with current, catchy, loud music is good in my book!
2. The Mirrors – every wall has mirrors so you can always see the instructor or correct your form.
3. The Moves – most of the moves were tiny and for a non-dancer like me, a little awkward, but they created muscle burn. My favorite moves were of course the push-ups and plyometric push-ups off the barre.
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. You might like it if you’re looking to add a low impact class to your routine, or if you used to be a dancer, or if you just want to try something new.
If you want to jump around and sweat A LOT, then skip Cardio Barre and come to INSANITY.
Let me know your thoughts!
