How to Make Yourself Workout

Do you know the biggest tip for staying on track with your fitness?

It has nothing to do with burpees! Lol

It has everything to do with PEOPLE!

Having an accountability partner can be the KEY to your success. Here’s how I know:

My INSANITY class was full today with two groups of people who all work together.

They walk over on their lunch break together and do the class together. It’s simple because it’s nearby, and they plan ahead to bring lunch to their office that day.

What’s cool is the encouragement that happens among them.

Everyone keeps tabs on each other and gently pushes each other to step out to take time for themselves.

Midday fitness with friends is an excellent stress reliever!

Instead of going out for a heavy lunch, or plowing through more work, take a breath and recenter yourself for the rest of the day.


If you’re not ready for a class or gym membership, you can simply walk!

Memphis is starting a Wednesday lunch walk program called Walk It Wednesday! They set up quarter mile markers along Main Street so downtown workers can get out and move more!

I’m excited about this because it will be a fun way to connect with other people who value their health.

If you’re not in Memphis, I’m sure there’s SOMEWHERE to walk around your office inside or outside.

Grab a buddy and make a regular date to move more. Daily or weekly!
