How to Kill Cravings – Pizza Edition

Trying to stick to your meal plan but reeeeeeeally want pizza?

I know how you feel.

Pizza is one of my favorite things!

Let’s break apart this craving thing and kick it to the curb!

You have cravings for 2 reasons: nutritional deficiencies or “mental drama”

Since I’m not a scientist (even though I have some advice on getting the right nutrients), I’m going to help you conquer the mental drama!

If you think your cravings are a result of mental drama, then listen up!

Get pizza out of your sight!! Easy fix. Out of sight. Out of mind.


You can get creative and create pizza in a way that fits your nutrition plan!

What part of pizza do you specifically love?

  • Crust
  • Marinara sauce
  • Toppings
  • Cheese

If you really love the flavors of pizza, then I have a great recipe starter to help you get your fix without blowing your nutrition plan.

Let’s call it – Pizza Bowl – which is totally inspired by a sandwich at Lenny’s.

Here’s your pizza bowl inspiration:

  • Start with grilled chicken
  • Add marinara
  • Add toppings you like raw or grilled (peppers, onion, broccoli, etc)
  • Add a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese
  • Add oregano

Pro Tip: Oregano is the secret!! It’s “pizza” flavor. Trust me!

If crust is your thing, then experiment with crisping tortillas on the stove or making cauliflower crust.

Pizza has a bad wrap because of allll the carbs and fats that don’t really do anything FOR you. They are just empty calories. Veggies and protein and “pizza flavors” can easily fit into your healthy nutrition plan if you’ll be creative.

Then you can eat pizza every day! Yay!!
