How to Gain Momentum with a New Habit
Last night, I had a burst of inspiration about my habits + in true Lauren fashion, I came up with a game π
It’s a game to help me β try out β a habit that has been in my awareness for a while, but not in my ACTION.
Does that ever happen to you?
You have an interesting idea, but then 3 weeks or 3 months {or 3 years} go by without testing it out?
Yes, we are human.
It’s okay.
The Game :
Question a Day til May!
For me, this is a journaling experiment.
I wrote out questions that I have been collecting from personal development classes / books / conversations
and I’m going to answer one a day in my journal.
The journal that I never use and generally resist altogether.
I’m going to do ONE a day until May.
One Apple a Day, Not 7 apples in One Day – style βοΈ
Shockingly, May is in 16 days, so this is a very doable goal for me.
It’s a good experiment because it’s
SIMPLE, EASY, LIMITED, and FUN {come on, saying One A Day til May is catchy!}
You can use this format for ANY habit you’ve been curious about creating.
but will you? π
Text me – I wanna know your intention π₯
As you may have noticed, I am experimenting with a Mid-Month Check-In that offers some motivation, encouragement or simple games + tricks to get yourself into action π₯
