How to Be Happier: Part 3

Who wants to be happier? All of us, right!?

My Facebook followers said they needed some tips and strategy around the topic of peace of mind, so I decided to tackle happiness first!

No one is 100% happy all the time {that’s normal}, and most of us want to be at least a little happier than we currently are.

We’ve already talked about giving situations an empowering meaning AND setting up your day for maximum success and happiness.

Today – I’m excited to share with you another way that YOU can be happier!

This is important: MOVE YOUR BODY.

Yep – it’s that simple!

How to Move Your Body to Increase Your Happiness

  • Smile
  • Dance in Your Chair
  • Do Burpees — Yessss!!
  • Go on a Sunshine Walk

One of the reasons this works is because our body will sometimes tell our emotions what to do.

For example, if our posture is slumped, we are frowning and looking down, then our body definitely thinks it’s time to be sad or bored.

If you find this happening and you want to change it, you can sit up straighter, smile, wriggle your body!

“All that you really want in life is to change how you feel. Again, all your emotions are nothing but biochemical storms in your brain, and you are in control of them at any moment in time. You can feel ecstasy right now, or you can feel pain or depression or overwhelmed – it’s all up to you. You don’t need drugs or anything else to do it.” – Tony Robbins

Pro Tip: Loosen up that negative energy in your body, and you will have the opportunity to be happier.

You can do this RIGHT NOW.

Do a little dance – do some face aerobics. Yes – it’s a thing. You’re going to have to see the video above for a demonstration at 1:49.

What’s your favorite dance, exercise, or place to take a sunshine walk?

This is Part 3 in a series called How to Be Happier. Here’s Part 1 and 2 if you missed it.
