Need a Burst of Inspiration?

here’s a February story for ya

On the first day of February, I was minding my own business at Chick-fil-A with my cat – I had just re-discovered their hashbrown coins. Yum.

When I got a text asking for help – some great conversation and coaching occurred over the next half hour. I was excited and wanted to share with the socials.

Wildly, that led to me declare to myself that I would post on Facebook every day in February. It’s a short month after all. That might sound easy or normal if you see me as an “influencer” – but I’ve been feeling “not an influencer” lately.

So here’s what happened next – my process and some tips you could take for yourself to test it in your life

01.
trust your intuition

I didn’t tell anyone about the challenge because it already felt like enough pressure without knowing people were watching.

Sometimes telling others about my commitment is exactly what makes me do things. Sometimes not.

Tip : trust your intuition {especially if you’re splenic authority in human design}

02.
hack your current life

I created a google doc because when I crew for Tony Robbins I get to help make a super fun google doc about the event – and the idea of collecting ideas this way elicited fond memories!

I made a way to “check it off” and next time, I would actually make this outside of the computer for even more visual cues.

Tip : look for what already works in your life, and use it in your new goal

This is my actual tracker table with emoji check marks!

03.
every day is not an A+ day

The first few days were easy and fun. Also, some days were dull – me making the world’s simplest post about the Super Bowl halftime show, so I didn’t have to think past that – surprise, no one commented or liked it.

Tip : every day doesn’t have to be an A+ day {I see you achiever}

04.
action breeds more action

Sometime mid-month, I was out for a walk and an idea came to me for a free group. Now, I really had something to share about and get excited for! I launched it quickly, and we’re actually celebrating {crying about} the close of the group today!

Tip : action breeds more action

05.
be proud of yourself

I’m sure I could say more, but that feels like a great overview. Feel free to send questions or share a goal or habit you’re workshopping into your life.

Mostly, I am proud of myself for sticking with it. I am seeing myself with more ideas, more inspiration, more creativity and that feels wonderful.

It’s been winter in my brain for longer than I’d like. Spring is here.

Tip : make it easy to be proud of yourself

06.
Rosè all day

Emails can no longer be complete with out a Rosè {my Mexican rescue kitten} update.

She’s 11 months-ish and 11 pounds-ish and so… sassy.

We love her so much.
