One great thing about getting older is 😹 you get good at noticing your patterns.

I can predict that I’m going to chill through December🎄 and arrive on January 1 feeling stressed 🥵 I’ll feel late. I’ll feel like I didn’t “complete things.” I’ll feel annoyed that I didn’t plan ahead for this obvious situation 🙃

Lots of feelings here 🌊 lots of ways to address this 🦎

Instead of letting the predictable pattern happen, I’m going to use what I know about myself and create a new outcome.

What I know :

✨ I love community – yay sharing + celebrating with friends!

✨ External accountability works for me – if I tell you I’m going to do something, it’s happening!

✨ Short bursts of specific action feels fun – cue check marks + gold stars

The last month with 2 big events + thanksgiving travels has been FULL of chats with old and new friends. 👩🏼‍🤝‍👩🏻

I love the energy of popping into conversations every day about things we’re all excited about! 🎉

Events make that easy – the in between demands a lot more intention + purposeful action 🤓

It’s mid-december, so my intention is to connect with people about end of year things 🥂

I wanna know what you’re proud of from 2023. I wanna know what cool things you did, what lessons you learned, what inspired you… I wanna know that thing you’re going to finish in the next 20 days just so you can know you did your best 🌟

It’s our choice to end the year in a way that feels satisfying + peaceful ✨

I believe we can do that in the busyness of the holidays 🎄
