Chia Pudding – The Healthier Dessert
Since I moved to Florida, I rediscovered a great dessert!
I say rediscovered because I think this was a huge trend about 6 or 8 years ago when chia seeds became “a thing.”
In the past, I couldn’t get the consistency right, but now I have figured it out!
Chia Pudding Ingredients
- Chia Seeds
- Cup Milk
- All the Flavors
You can create any dessert flavoring you’d like!
My favorites are chocolate peanut butter and chocolate Christmas (add cinnamon and ginger).
All you do is mix 1/4 cup liquid with 1/4 Tablespoon chia seeds and add your flavors. If it already seems thick when you’re making it, then add more liquid. The chia seeds need to be able to soak up some of the liquid overnight.
I use a shaker cup to blend all the ingredients, let it sit for a minute or so, shake it again, then pour it into the container to sit overnight {in the refrigerator}.
