Are you bored with almonds, protein bars, and cottage cheese?
Here’s another protein snack that you can enjoy for about 180 calories, 22g protein, 10g carbs.
Can you drink something GREEEEN? Or does it freak you out?
Here’s the recipe for this delicious snack:
- 1 scoop Sun Warrior Vanilla Protein
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- 1 cup Frozen Spinach
- Add ice if it’s too thin and water if it’s too thick
Optional ingredients to make it a little sweeter — a slice of banana to keep it green, a few mixed berries to make it purple
If you want to make this into a meal instead of a snack, then add more protein powder, peanut butter, chia seeds, more banana… the possibilities are endless!
**Note that the protein powder I used is strictly protein. It’s different than the meal replacement shake I drink for breakfast that includes over 70 healthy ingredients (Shakeology).
